Manish Rai (Secretary)
Manish Rai, the core founder of Ek Pahel, is a lecturer at REI College and Dayalbagh Education Institute, Agra. Manish always felt the need to bring about a change in society. He hated to see children begging and engaged as child labour and, women suffering from the dogmas of the society. Driven by the extra-ordinary passion, from a very young age, he gave free tutions to the children belonging to weaker sections of the society, motivated them to learn and thrive, and financially supported their families, in his own capacity. These qualities of resourcefulness and determination came to forefront when Manish and 5 of his friends started Ek Pahel. With their heart, mind, and resources together, these friends together created an ecosystem in which they could reach out to the underprivileged section of the society and give them a never dying ray of hope.
Ebha Garg (President)
Ebha Garg, co-founder, is currently pursuing Ph.D. from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra and is director of Career Zen – a career counseling organization shaping childrens’ future. She has served as a lecturer in RBS College, Agra and U.E.I. Global. She is the member of grievance management committee of Post Office and Radisson Blu, Agra. With her farsightedness and visionary approach, she gives the direction to the organization. As a President of the NGO, her contribution in spreading awareness about the noble cause the NGO is working for is of tremendous value.
Ankit Khandelwal (Vice-President)
Ankit Khandelwal, Masters in Management and Social Work, is a co-founder of Ek Pahel. He is a regularly attends workshops conducted by National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) to gain critical insights into needs and issues of children. He is always on his toes to fulfill the day-to-day needs of the children. As a Vice President of the NGO, he organizes all the pre-requisites for the projects and activities conducted by Ek Pahel for the children and women time to time.
Dheeraj Arora (Treasurer)
Dheeraj Arora, co-founder of Ek Pahel is a young, aspiring business man. He evangelizes the cause Ek Pahel is working for, motivates all the people to be the part of the Ek Pahel family and work together to create better lives forward. As a Treasurer of the NGO, he ensures facilitation of funds for the smooth functioning of the NGO.
Barkha Rai (Vice-Secretary)
Barkha Rai is a co-founder of Ek Pahel. She is an exceptionally brave woman and constant source of advice and support to all the women studying and undergoing vocational training at Ek Pahel Pathshala. She is the Vice –Secretary of the NGO and Vice-Principal of the school and manages all the educational and co-curricular programs and projects run for the children and women by the NGO.
Shubhangi Bansal (Vice-President)
Shubhangi, Masters in Social work, is a young girl, full of energy and enthusiasm. Shubhangi is Vice President of Ek Pahel and takes care of the day-to-day activities of the NGO, regularly interacts with the members of Ek Pahel and update them about the progress of the NGO and encourage them to pool new ideas.
Jyoshita Ailawadi (Event-Cordinator)
Jyoshita is a young business woman who runs a home bakery Cakeshh. She seamlessly appreciates childrens’ dreams, aspirations, family values, and apprehensions and tries to address the same. Her love for humanity and commitment to work for the society is unmatchable.
Ananya Sharma (Event-Cordinator)
Ananya Sharma is a reputed teacher at a Convent school in Agra. She lends her precious time in developing the curriculum and educational cum developmental activities of the students at Ek Pahel Pathshala.
Shivam Garg (Member)
Shivam Garg is a young, aspiring business man. He is the heart and soul of the NGO and assists in garnering resources for the smooth functioning of the NGO.
Utkarsh Agrawal (Member)
Utkarsh, a post graduate in Management from University of Manchester is a budding businessman. He joined Ek Pahel as a part time teacher few years back and has now become a full time member of Ek Pahel. He helps us in incorporating best practices of foreign university in the curriculum of the school and also assists in resource generation for the Ek Pahel Swabhiman Centre.
Kunal Hura (Member)
Kunal is currently a well known teacher in a government school. He is a post graduate in management from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. He looks after the physical wellness of the students of Ek Pahel and help them excel in games and sports.
Megha Singh (Member)
Megha Singh is a young entrepreneur running Agra Walks. She plays a major role in spreading the word about Ek Pahel Pathshala to toursits visiting Agra and organizes cultural exchange programs with them and promote India’s rich cultural heritage.
Atul Mittal (Member)
Atul is a leading business man in paper industry. He is an active member of F.P.T.A. (Federation of Paper Traders’ Associations of India), Agra Kagaz Vyapar Mandal. He is a member of various social groups including Vriksh Vandana and Agra Cyclist group. He assists in arranging for study materials for the students.
Richa Arora (Member)
Richa Arora is a Software Engineer by profession. She has a heart and desire to help the marginalized section of the society. She gives innovative technological ideas in order to make the NGO sustainable and progressive.
