Manish Rai is an educator, social entrepreneur, and the visionary founder of Ek Pahel B.R. Memorial Welfare Society, an organisation dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, skill development, and social awareness. An academic by profession, he serves as a lecturer at REI College, Agra, and holds an MBA from Symbiosis College, Pune, along with an M.Com from St. John’s College, Agra. Guided by the belief that education is the strongest tool for change, he started teaching underprivileged children through free classes in 2008, which later evolved into Ek Pahel in 2009. Recognised for his contribution to social development, Manish Rai continues to work towards building an inclusive and empowered society where every child gets a chance to learn, grow, and succeed.

Ebha Garg, co-founder, is currently pursuing Ph.D. from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra and is director of Career Zen - a career counseling organization shaping childrens’ future. She has served as a lecturer in RBS College, Agra and U.E.I. Global. She is the member of grievance management committee of Post Office and Radisson Blu, Agra. With her farsightedness and visionary approach, she gives the direction to the organization. As a President of the NGO, her contribution in spreading awareness about the noble cause the NGO is working for is of tremendous value.

Ankit Khandelwal, Masters in Management and Social Work, is a co-founder of Ek Pahel. He is a regularly attends workshops conducted by National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) to gain critical insights into needs and issues of children. He is always on his toes to fulfill the day-to-day needs of the children. As a Vice President of the NGO, he organizes all the pre-requisites for the projects and activities conducted by Ek Pahel for the children and women time to time.

Dheeraj Arora is a Co-Founder of Ek Pahel B.R. Memorial Welfare Society and a young, dynamic entrepreneur associated with the food and fitness industry. He strongly believes in community-driven change and actively promotes the vision and mission of Ek Pahel, motivating people to join hands in creating better lives for underprivileged communities. As the Treasurer of the organisation, he oversees financial management and ensures smooth facilitation of funds for the effective functioning of various projects. He also plays a key role in event management and operational coordination across Ek Pahel initiatives. Dheeraj holds a Master’s degree in Management from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, and continues to contribute with his leadership, energy, and commitment towards social impact.

Barkha Rai is the Co-Founder of Ek Pahel B.R. Memorial Welfare Society and a strong pillar of support for the organisation’s mission of education and women empowerment. A graduate in Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s College, Agra, she plays a key leadership role in shaping the NGO’s educational and social initiatives. As the Vice-Secretary of the NGO and Vice-Principal of Ek Pahel Pathshala, she oversees the overall school management, academic planning, and co-curricular development of students. She also leads the management of the Swabhiman manufacturing units, supporting women through vocational training and livelihood opportunities. Known for her strength, dedication, and compassionate leadership, she continues to guide and inspire women and children associated with Ek Pahel..
